Classy as ever.
200🥇 and 2 😜 It’s so hard to explain or put into words. But here is what I do know: None of this happens without my support system! Mom, Dad… this journey has been one in a million. Every kid deserves parents as supportive as you. To my other family and friends, you know who you are! Your support means the world ❤️ My teammates… LITERALLY this doesn’t happen without all of you. There is no I in TEAM 🙌 Every medal has been so special! To my team… you’ve seen the behind the scenes. The good, bad, and ugly. But stepped up for every moment in every tournament. I’m so grateful! To the @ppatour ... When people talk about where pickleball has been and where it is headed, it’s the work we are doing together that they are talking about! My sponsors… @nike @franklinpickleball @ultabeauty @pillaperformanceeyewear @drinkvital1 . I’m proud to be partners with such outstanding groups. And to the INCREDIBLE FANS… I LOVE YOU!!! You are the spirit, energy, and heartbeat of pickleball. These tournaments are so special to play in because of you. Every cheer, high five, and clap fuels us in ways you can’t imagine. To many more! - ALW 🫶
8 years of being married to my bestest friend in the whole wide world. 🥰 Jacob and I met in high school via mutual friends, were good friends for a while, and started dating the July after graduation. We’re very different people than we were at 18–we’ve quite literally grown up together!—but I’m so thankful that we happened to grow and mature into someone the other person still both liked and loved (which we now recognize is the main reason “high school sweethearts” are pretty rare). We helped each other grow into much better versions of ourselves and couldn’t be more grateful for that. 🧡 Since then we’ve had different jobs, lived in a loft in downtown Kansas City, lived the nomad life for 3 months in an RV, tried & failed at being travel couple influencers (😂), bought our first home, completed our goal of visiting all 50 states before turning 30 (which we started separately and just happened to finish with the same state!), celebrated 13 years of dating, adopted a kitten, and spent many a day doing absolutely nothing together. 🤭 Happy 8 years, my love. Here’s to as many more as this cherished life will give us. 🫶🏻

GOOD AT STEM? 🔬 THINK BEYOND ENGINEERING & MED SCHOOL! 👀 Your student loves math and science, but isn’t interested in becoming an engineer, doctor, or computer scientist? GOOD NEWS! There are SO many other options! 🙌 Six undergraduate majors worth exploring: 📊 Actuarial Science ⚙️ Operations Research 🍦 Food Science 🧬 Biostatistics 🌎 Geospatial Science / GIS 🧠 Applied Mathematics From developing new food products to predicting financial risk and studying climate change, these fields can lead to some fascinating careers! Some specialized programs and careers require additional education, but the possibilities are much broader than most families realize. Being good at STEM doesn’t mean your student has to follow the same three career paths! ❤️ Parents, what TWO subjects does your student love most? Tell me below! #Collegebound #stemeducation #CollegeAdmissions #CollegePlanning #STEMCareers
