📍 You want to hike Mt Agung? here’s what you need to know…
•
Its the tallest volcano in Bali, and one of the tallest in Indonesia. Rated one of the hardest yet most epic day hikes in indo 🇮🇩
•
Height: 3142m (10,308ft) of steep incline.
Terrain: Technical, rocky, slippery and risky in sections.
Duration: Roughly 12 hours return
Distance: 18km return
Difficulty: 7-8/10 (for day hikes)
View: 12/10 👌🏽
•
You need a solid fitness base/ training prep, quality hiking shoes, at least 4L of water, electrolytes, lots of carbs/ snacks to stay fuelled, and a rain jacket for both rain and cold winds at the peak.
•
I recommend starting at 3am to catch sunrise towards the top, it gets cloudy round mid day so you want to get up as ear as possible.
