Oop! Tesehki says she’s upset after seeing the Baddies USA Chapter 3 trailer, reacting to claims that Lori, Ciroc and Lauren jumped Big Lex! 😳

After Lex responded with a pair of winking emojis, Tesehki reminded everyone there’s always a reunion! 👀

Wall sits lowered blood pressure by almost 10 points in just four weeks.

This was a randomized trial of 100 inactive adults. The exercise groups did four wall-squat holds per session, three times a week. Their systolic blood pressure, the top number, fell by about nine and a half points.

Then researchers reduced how often some participants trained. Even once a week preserved part of the benefit over the next month, although three times a week worked best.

Now, why am I interested in this beyond cardiovascular health?
Because blood-pressure control also matters for your brain.

In a separate large randomized trial, more intensive blood-pressure treatment reduced the risk of mild cognitive impairment by 19%.

And there’s another brain connection with exercise snacks.

In a small randomized study, getting up and walking for just two minutes every half hour prevented the drop in brain blood-flow velocity that occurred during prolonged sitting.

I think people underestimate what these short bouts of activity can do.

You can train regularly and still spend most of your day sitting. Those brief movement breaks deserve a place alongside your workouts.

We sat down with @lorenzo_senni at @muchoflowfestival, and among other things talked about how he manages to keep a life in music sustainable in a time when most musicians experience an increasingly tougher environment and living conditions.

Lorenzo told us how he started working in a factory chickpea processing factory at 17 before starting to “make it” in music. The way he deals with precarity is accepting that one day, he might have to go back.
