The Lick | Short Film

I recently had the opportunity to speak with teens at @bgcgw after they watched my film, The Lick, as part of a media literacy lesson.

We talked about how the film came together, writing and directing, the challenges behind production, and what it means to tell honest stories about the communities we come from. Getting to hear their questions, perspectives, and creative ideas was genuinely inspiring.

Thank you so much to @_luvynaa for thinking of me, sharing the film with her students, and creating this opportunity. Knowing that something I made is continuing to spark conversations with young people in DC truly means the world to me.
