I saw his first live public saxophone performance at Joshua Tree Music Festival 2020….and I was so nervous for him wondering if he was ready for prime time, whereupon he went on to blow the entire 3rd stage festival tent away with the most thoughtful/intentional sax improv musing, leaving me in a puddle of tears and goosebumps from his soulful song. Congratulations, Niko!! You’re making all of us who have been lucky enough to watch you grow into a very respectable young lion!! Keep Going, Bro!!
