But these past few years, summer has started to feel more and more like a warning. Earth is heating up rapidly. This is hardly news scientists have been warning us about this for more than five decades. At the same time, fossil fuel companies have known about the greenhouse gas effect since the late 50s and have (successfully) been jeopardising climate action ever since.'.

However, at the end of this cycle should not only be acceptance, but also action. Yes, we need to talk about ACs and other ways to cool our homes, offices, schools. But we also need to talk about mitigation- -about decarbonising our economy, greening our cities, changing our habits.'.
