Everyone said I handled pregnancy very well but to be honest, Gold handled it even better than I did and that was why I had energy for the whole 41 weeks.

He made sure to find every of my cravings, made sure there was always ice cubes in the freezer, made sure my Stanley cup was never empty, made sure my favorite fruits were always in the fridge, he made sure I was up early enough to resume morning shifts, he made sure my uniforms were ironed and my shoes polished every morning, he made sure my hair was done, he made sure I took all my supplements, he never missed any appointments even the impromptu hospital sleepovers, and when I gained so much weight and got darker, he swore that my size and complexion were pertect.

I didn’t have to lift a finger all through
(except when I was at work) and on days when I was scared and anxious, he’d pray over me and reassure me that I was doing a great job carrying our child.
