Zarape Concina & Cantina is a mexi-medi fusion spot in Belmont Shore where the Rubio used to be, they serve up some pretty delicious dishes and solid cocktails, they have their own line of tequila so you can really taste the quality in their drinks, and their food is top notch because they’re a 100% scratch kitchen everything is made fresh to order
I was really impressed with their tasting menu it included chicken mole taco, ceviche, mussel, seafood paella, and lamb chop and their mexi-medi cocktail was so refreshingly dangerous
This spot is pretty cool for a nice meal with drinks, come check them out if you’re in the area it’s def worth it they’re open from 10am-10pm daily

I don’t know every time I have gone there or ordered out it just takes forever to get your food. I know they make the tortillas to order but just not worth the wait for so so food.

It’s good, but not great… prices are higher than Viaje which IMHO is much better. Now you have to compete with Nicks south of the border too and if you want cheap Mexican, super mex across the street. I don’t think Zarappe will last, the price/quality seems to be off. I don’t see the value proposition with the other options within walking distance. Not to mention how long it took them to get a liquor license, I’m sure that put them deep in the red starting out.
