If you ever wonder whether your breastfed baby is getting enough milk, here are 6 signs that the baby is well nourished:

1. 6+ wet diaper daily after day 5
2. At least 2 soft yellow poos daily after day 4 for the first few weeks
3. Baby gain weight steadily after the first 3 to 4 days
4. Rapid sucks at the start followed by rhythmic sucks and swallows with occasional pauses
5. Seems satisfied and happy for an average of 1 to 3 hours between feedings
6. Nurse at least 8 to 12 times every 24 hours
