Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith will not fail.” — Luke 22:31–32

Peter’s circumstances were about to become unstable, but Christ’s intercession was already in place. Peter would stumble, but his stumble would not have the final word. Jesus already had restoration in view.

Sometimes God allows a shaking season to expose where our confidence has been misplaced. Peter thought he was stronger than he actually was, but after his failure he learned dependence, humility, and grace. That experience prepared him to strengthen others.

So when you go through a season that reveals weakness, do not only ask, “Why did this happen?” Ask, “What is God developing in me through this?” The shaking may expose you, but it does not have to destroy you. In God’s hands, even failure can become preparation for greater usefulness.

@meta so you decided that allowing people to anonymously attack another individual without merit or actual real data is the way to go???? I smell @lawfareproject a defamation case on our hands!!! We expect a public apology for your violation of @lizzysavetsky image and reputation in her post with @therealcarolineshinkle @sendcarolinetocongress and many other posts!!She has never ever ever laughed or joked about anyone being raped. She has only advocated against sexual violence and for equality. So LAWYER UP AS$hats! Or make a statement publicly ridding her reputation of this!!

Some pictures from this year and last year hikes to golden arches.
It's always so thrilling to see these amazing trees. They are thousands of years old and only grow in certain regions on high elevations and despite being from coniferous families they turn color and shed their needles! 💛
Minnie was so excited to see them! 🐶
Have you seen the golden larches?
Do you have a dog?
Do you take your dog on adventures?
