Good morning friends 🙋‍♀️🌞

When the good people at the Ontario Association of Optometrists asked me to help spread the word about eye health. I didn’t think twice.

I’ve been wearing glasses since Grade 3, making me well aware of the importance of routine eye exams for pretty much my whole life. 👓

Social media and increased screen time has only made all of us more aware of the strain we put our eyes under every day. 💻

Every eye tells a story. And our eyes reveal much more than what we see. 👁️

My husband Aleks is living proof of that. A routine eye exam led to the discovery of a brain tumour.

Comprehensive eye exams can provide valuable insights about our eye health and overall health— not just vision correction. 🧑‍⚕️

Get peace of mind and book your eye exam today. Make yours a priority. 🙏

Find an optometrist near you @ontariooptometrists and book a comprehensive eye exam at:

Consider this your friendly reminder and take good care 🫶,

Love always,

Di 💗

Ever wondered who’s REALLY behind your favorite horror icons? 👹
Meet the actors beneath the masks...

😈 Freddy Krueger — Robert Englund (79)
🤡 Pennywise — Tim Curry 🕊️ (1946–2026)
🏒 Jason Voorhees — Kane Hodder (71)
🍷 Hannibal Lecter — Anthony Hopkins (88)
📌 Pinhead — Doug Bradley (71)
🪚 Leatherface — Gunnar Hansen 🕊️ (1947–2015)
🐐 The Faun — Doug Jones (65)
🔪 Chucky — Brad Dourif (75, voice)
🎭 Michael Myers — Nick Castle (78)
🧩 Jigsaw — Tobin Bell (84)

The terrifying icons... and the kind, talented people behind them!
🎬

Did you know? Anthony Hopkins won an Oscar for just 16 minutes as
Hannibal! 🏆 Kane Hodder is the ONLY actor to play Jason,
Leatherface AND Freddy’s hand! And we sadly lost the legendary Tim
Curry — the original Pennywise — in 2026 🕊️
