Forgot that I never posted this higher res render of a very sick little dance by a very sickly man named Lennard. #abba #danceforlife #3danimations

$Some days are exciting, some are messy, and some are so wonderfully ordinary that they almost look exactly like the day before. Same routines, same faces, same little things. And yet, there’s so much beauty in that ordinary life. One of the things I love most about getting older is how much I’m growing into myself. Less concerned with expectations, less interested in proving anything, and increasingly comfortable with the person I’ve always been. Becoming a mother at 40 was something I had almost stopped believing would happen. Having one son was already beyond my wildest dreams. Do I sometimes wonder what life with more children would have looked like? Of course. But that doesn’t make me any less grateful for the beautiful boy I have. And marriage? After almost 18 years together, I can tell you it’s not always pink clouds and butterflies. 🤭 There are disagreements, frustrations and plenty of ordinary Tuesdays. But there’s something beautiful about choosing each other again and again, through all the different versions of ourselves. I’ve learned that loving your life doesn’t mean you never wonder about the roads you didn’t take. The choices you didn’t make, the person you might have become. Gratitude and curiosity about what might have been can exist together. And while I share a lot here, what you see on Instagram is only a fraction of my life. Not every moment needs an audience, not every experience needs to become content. Some things are simply ours to enjoy, struggle through or remember. At 51, I don’t wake up every morning feeling inspired or excited. Sometimes I’m tired, restless or simply bored. And sometimes a sunny morning, a good conversation or a fabulous outfit is all it takes to make me ridiculously happy. I appreciate what I have. The people I love, the life we’ve built, the freedom to be myself and the privilege of getting older. It’s not a perfect life. It’s not always an exciting life. But it’s mine. And perhaps the greatest gift of getting older is realising that it doesn’t need to be anything more than that. ❤️ Outfit questions below 👇🏼 #andbloom$

Baby steps, people! 😂❤️

Getting Janelle, Meri, and me back in the same room to look through old family photos was a big enough step for one day! 😂 We’ve all been through a lot, and some relationships take a little more time to figure out.

Did we want to hang out afterward? Nope! 😂 But that’s okay! Sometimes just showing up is progress, and who knows what the future holds?

One step at a time! ❤️

Have you ever had a relationship where baby steps were the best way forward?

i love just being happy and excited about things ☺️ #roadtrip #maine #vlog #newenglandfall
