"Rosie the Riveter" Jeanne Gibson passed away at the age of 100.
At 16, she left her home in Minnesota to work as a welder at Todd Pacific Shipyards in Seattle, where she helped build destroyers that strengthened the Allied war effort in World War II. She later served with the Army Transportation Corps in Juneau, Alaska.
She was one of more than 6 million American women who served as a "Rosie" during World War II.

It's sad, but she was a heroic woman to step up doing the work that needed done, when our country needed her.

We are sorry to hear about the loss of Rosie. But it is good to know that she will be resurrected back to earth 🌎 in the future. Sincerely, Howard Burrows JW
