@realstraykids recently stopped by the @bape.korea Dosan flagship in Seoul to celebrate the launch of their upcoming @bape_japan collaboration 🐵✨ Reflecting on their early love for rap music and buying their first Shark Hoodies as kids, the members walked through their favorite pieces from the collection. A major standout: exclusive graphics bringing BABY MILO together with the group’s SKZOO characters. Video：Anson Lam / Hypebeast

So we decided to write our own. It started with a trivia game called ‘Quiz Up’. 2014. I was a Turkish girl obsessed with Bollywood, beating an Indian guy three times back to back in a quiz game. He thought I was fake — an Indian guy with a random foreigner girl profile. I thought he was too young to be troublesome looking at his photos on Facebook. I added him on Facebook to learn about Indian culture. That day we talked for 15 hours. The next day, 16. We haven’t really stopped since. What followed was 3 years of long distance — no meetings, just words on a screen across two continents. Then he saved up and flew to Türkiye in 2017. Then I saved every single lira from my first job and flew to India in 2019. Then COVID hit. He quit his job, left everything behind and moved to Türkiye in 2020. Into the completely unknown. For me. We were scared about our families’ reactions. A Turkish-Indian relationship — different countries, different cultures, different religions. But my dad said something I will never forget — “It doesn’t matter which nationality, which religion. It only matters if he’s a good human being.” And his mother — a traditional Indian woman — was surprised at first. But she was understanding and supportive in the most beautiful way. We couldn’t have asked for better from either side. Then UAE. Then two weddings in Türkiye. Then one in India. Three countries. Three weddings. Twelve years. One Turkish girl. One Indian guy. One story that started because I knew too much about Bollywood. ❤️ @mainhoonduygu
