A river in Bangladesh has grown so heavily clogged with plastic waste and solid refuse that people can walk across its surface. Layers of discarded bottles, packaging, and industrial debris have built up into a thick, almost solid mat that covers stretches of water once open for boats and fishing. Bangladesh generates roughly 3,000 tonnes of plastic waste every day, with large volumes flowing into rivers around Dhaka such as the Buriganga. Untreated industrial effluent and household refuse continue to smother these waterways, turning them into some of the most polluted stretches in the region.
If you’re an animal lover, you need to read this. We slow down for dogs crossing the road, leave water out for birds in summer, and feel our hearts sink when we see an injured stray. That love is real. But somewhere along the way, we learnt to see some animals as companions and others as food. A distinction shaped by tradition, convenience and habit, one we rarely stop to question. But what if we questioned that distinction? What if the compassion we feel for some animals extended to others, too? We don’t need to become someone new. We just need to look at what we’ve always known a little differently. Save this for the next time someone asks, “Why vegan?” or share it with someone who’s ready to question the line we’ve always drawn. #veganism #animalrights #animalcompassion #veganlifestyle #trend {animal compassion, animal rights, why vegan, vegan lifestyle, compassion for animals, animals are not food, speciesism, plant based living, ethical veganism, kindness to animals, vegan awareness, animal lovers, conscious choices, cruelty free living, compassion for all animals}
Don’t try 😊 I have a side of me that likes to feel challenged always. None of the crazy stuff you see me doing is needed. I do them because I am “insane” and I like that controlled insanity. It’s a way for me to express the power that lives within me Now you can pick from all my amazing functional and athletic training you see on my videos and try them. It will change your life. But there is only a few out there that will understand this #workoutmotivation #fitnessjourney #calisthenics #beastmode
