@thejasminebrand : Comedian and internet personality Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, is expected to host Saturday Night Live on November 7, marking a historic milestone for digital content creators, according to Puck. If confirmed, Druski would become the first creator primarily known for building an audience through social media to host the long-running NBC sketch comedy series. The reported booking represents a major moment for the entertainment industry, as digital creators continue breaking into traditional Hollywood spaces. While SNL has previously recruited talent from online platforms, including Andy Samberg and The Lonely Island, the show has never selected a primarily digital creator to headline an episode in this capacity. Druski has built a massive following through his viral comedy sketches, celebrity collaborations and his popular Coulda Been Records content. His rise from internet comedian to a potential SNL host highlights the growing influence of social media personalities in mainstream entertainment. NBC has not officially confirmed the appearance. According to Puck, an SNL representative declined to comment on the report. Are y’all excited to see Druski potentially make history on SNL?
