WITCHES 🩸 tap the bio / out everywhere 🥀 FRAMES / THE WORLD / THE FORBIDDEN LOVE Till date my top fav video to have directed myself / it’s funny how things come together / 2021 before a show prep I had my laptop out / I hit these chords that hypnotized me and put me in a trance / as I played the lead synth notes / Anzela derived a melody from it / the first line being ‘we’re the witches of the night that haunt you / the witches that don’t sleep’ / the rest I produced and we wrote and finished in 15 minutes / sometimes the signal of purity is in such a flow that you don’t have to do anything / it all just happens for you / thru you this was a time in my life where nights were long / they still are / but during these days they were long particularly because my haunting was my existential crisis / this was the beginning of the time where I’d stop associating myself with being this human in this very flesh / we made this song / performed and showcased it a few days later too / the energy I received on stage made me realize this is truly special / I knew it then / this deserved a video out of this world / cut to 2023 / @alixeeshanempire came up with a vision / showcased his collection / ideas / a world / a forbidden union / a human and non-human entity / this intrigued me / and the only sound I could hear in this world was WITCHES / it had found a visual home / and here we are today / if you’re a director or filmmaker / follow the visions you receive in all states / you will find a home for them one day A special thanks to everyone who made this possible @alixeeshanempire @anzelaabbasi @saadzahid @annstagram @_roshaannn @saadzahidd @saad_hassann_ @aminshahofficiall @samavia_khann
