An INCREDIBLE weekend. 🩷

1-3 An absolute honor to be nominated for the Women in Business Award through my town. Nothing can describe the feeling of seeing my name amongst other business women in town who I’ve looked up to and connected with during my first 6 months of opening my business. My heart lies within the community around me, and creating a space for inclusion and connection. 🫶🏻

4-9 My very first season coaching I made a list of the goals I want to accomplish. My top three goals were : “1. Win 1st at a qualifier. 2. Help a player get committed to play in college. 3. Win 1st at Nationals.” After 6 years of coaching I am able to finally cross off the first of my original goals. At the end of the weekend, my co-coach asked me “Is it everything you ever hoped for?” My honest answer was, no. It took me 6 years to realize my love for coaching wasn’t valued by wins (although, that does make it a hell of a lot more fun.) The moments that mattered the most to me? Seeing the small moments of growth through a season. Watching my athletes glow after months of hard work finally pay off in one defining moment. Watching their resilience and tenacity in moments that don’t go their way. They inspire me, and I am honored to be apart of a space designed to push young women to grow positively in a mental, emotional, and physical way.

10-12 The first goal I was able to check off that list happened last year when a group of my athletes committed to play ball in college.
My first ever long season club team I coached I was able to meet Kymora. She was shy, new to the game, but the willingness to grow was there. I am blessed to have spent 4 years coaching this kid for club, and tonight I was able to witness her start, play, and rep a jersey that says Wisconsin.
That young girl with a love for volleyball is now an up and coming role model for kids everywhere. We all love you kid🤍

13-14 My parents were able to meet the incredible woman who raised my partner Sage. It’s such a blessing to have so much love between families for our relationship. I am the luckiest girl to be loved and supported without hesitation by Sage and his family. Thank you God for this man 🩷 by @summersee
