π’ After three years of research, it's finally here!
Excited to share our new scientific paper in Brain and Environment:
"Cognitive-aesthetic effects of sacred vs. secular architecture on believers: A neurophenomenological exploratory study."
β¨ To our knowledge, this is the first neurophenomenological study exploring how sacred architecture differs from secular architecture in shaping human experience.
Supported by the Templeton Religion Trust, the study combines architecture, neuroscience, phenomenology, psychology, theology, and computer science to better understand how the spaces we inhabit can influence the brain, body, and lived experience.
Grateful to my wonderful co-authors and everyone who made this research possible.
