Hey

More posts

If you knew my brother, you knew he almost never wore shoes, drew flames on everything, was always building a sword or a guitar, and was really freaking good at martial arts. But most of all, he was the most loyal brother. Through everything he struggled with, he showed up every time I asked and even when I didnโ€™t. Iโ€™m going to miss this wild man so much. Iโ€™ll miss singing with you, I will miss your giant infectious smile, your catch phrases and hearing about all your insane ideas. Thank you for showing up for me, for making my life weirder and louder, and for giving me so many stories Iโ€™ll tell for the rest of my life. I just wish we had more time to make a few more. Im sorry we never caught that alligator. Give dad the biggest hug for me. I love you, Deano. ๐Ÿ–ค RIP

First attempt at 2:25 marathon + 225 x 25 rep bench on the same day. Failed terribly. There are no reasons for the outcome other than I need to get better. On the bright side, I gained some key takeaways from the experience that I will implement in my training for the next attempt. While failure is part of the process, itโ€™s only useful if you can accept what it offers to teach you. This result has showed me exactly what I need to work on to make the goal happen and convinced me more that it is possible. Time to raise the standard in the next prep.
