Every month has a feeling of its own. September arrives in a quiet haze, with golden leaves gathering along the paths and cool mornings that make you linger a little longer.

October brings rain against the windows, wet streets reflecting headlights, and the familiar comfort of coming home before dark.

By November, the branches are bare, the skies turn grey, and the first dusting of snow settles over sleepy neighbourhoods.

December feels like evening walks beneath glowing street lamps, fresh snow under your shoes, and warm windows in the distance.

January holds the stillness of long nights and roads tucked beneath a blanket of white. February brings misty drives, damp woodland, and those afternoons when winter seems reluctant to leave.

Then March lets a little warmth back in. April fills the branches with blossoms and stretches the sunlight across the water. By May, wildflowers are catching the evening light, the trees are green again, and a walk you meant to keep short lasts until sunset.

There’s something beautiful about noticing these small changes while they’re happening. Which month feels most like you? #TheTrillionaireLife

Follow me then comment “OCR” and I’ll send you the free model that reads a whole PDF in one shot.

The most boring job on Earth just got automated by China, for free. It’s called Unlimited OCR, it comes from Baidu, and it’s small enough to run on your own computer. An OCR tool takes a scanned document and turns it into text your computer can work with. Every other one chops the document into pages and loses the thread in the middle. This one reads the whole thing at once.

Here’s how to use it:

1. Open the free demo on Hugging Face and drop in a scanned PDF or a photo of a page. No install.
2. Get back clean, structured text with every table and heading where it belongs.
3. Feed it a scanned financial report and it keeps the formulas and the reading order intact.
4. Want it local? Install the model with Python and run one file, or batch a whole folder of PDFs with the included script.
5. Building a document search tool or a RAG pipeline? Run it as a vLLM server and delete the messy pre-processing stack you built just to handle PDFs.

What makes this insane:

✅ 3 billion parameters, 32K context, dozens of pages in a single pass
✅ 93% on the OmniDocBench document benchmark
✅ Runs on your own machine, your documents never leave it
✅ MIT licensed, free for commercial use
✅ 27,000+ stars on GitHub in a few months

Why this matters:
Contracts, invoices, scanned reports, old records. Someone in every business spends hours reading those into a system by hand. That job is now one script.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️ SWIPE TO READ MORE ➡️

Diana has decided to step away from Delain after many years with the band to pursue other things in life.
While her departure naturally brings a sense of sadness, we look back with great gratitude on everything they have shared together.

We fully respect Diana’s decision and wishe her all the best in this new chapter of her life.
She will always have a place in the Delain family, and the door will always be open to her.

We have been reflecting on our future and ultimately chose to embrace a new and exciting creative direction, bringing together a wide range of artists and musical perspectives.

At the heart of Delain remains our founder and songwriter, Martijn Westerholt.
Alongside him, Ludovico Cioffi, Ronald Landa and Sander Zoer form Delain’s core.

Rather than looking for a direct replacement for Diana, we have chosen to embrace collaboration on a much broader scale.
Different voices, personalities and musical perspectives can now come together around the band, allowing each song and performance to take on its own character.
For the upcoming album, each artist contributes their own voice, personality and musical identity, creating a record that remains unmistakably Delain while opening the door to an entirely new range of musical possibilities.

The concept extends beyond the album.
Many of the artists will also join Delain live, creating a dynamic musical collective that can take different forms from song to song and from show to show.

The timing could hardly be more fitting.
Twenty years after the debut, we are carrying forward the collaborative spirit of the beginnings while taking the idea further than ever before.

“Delain has always been about bringing different musical worlds together. Twenty years ago, Lucidity started with that idea.
Now, twenty years later, we are taking it further than ever before.”
