On this second installment of my mix series I’m droppin the collapsed lung after hours set from last month.
I played this mix live right after I got in a nasty freeway crash on the way to my set. Nothing was stopping me from gettin it in.

The most dangerous thing about power might be becoming afraid to lose it.
James Talarico [ @jamestalarico ] raised an interesting point about what happens when people stay in positions of power for too long.
He claims that over time, their title can become part of who they are. And when their identity depends on keeping that position, they may start making decisions to protect it, even at the expense of the values that brought them there.
It’s one reason James says he’ll serve no more than two terms if elected to the US Senate in Texas.
Whatever your political views, it raises a question worth thinking about: How much of what we do is driven by what we believe in, and how much is driven by what we’re afraid to lose?
