Grateful for another year 💗

She put “ceasefire” in her bio. She lost friends of 30 years. She didn’t take it back. 🕊️

Marcia Cross spent two decades as one of TV’s most recognizable faces — Melrose Place, Desperate Housewives. Since October 2023, she’s used her platforms for one thing: demanding a ceasefire in Gaza and condemning the bombing of hospitals. Her Instagram bio now simply reads “Mama, actress, activist, ceasefire.”

The backlash was brutal. Friends she’d known for decades stopped speaking to her. She was accused of hate. A pro-Israel watchdog group named her its “Antisemite of the Week.”

In October 2025, she addressed the Gaza Tribunal in Istanbul: “I couldn’t function. I couldn’t live with myself. Who am I, if I stay silent?” People saw her as someone who hated Jews, she said — when all she was doing was “begging for the killing to stop.”

She’s not alone. Mark Ruffalo fought to protect pro-Palestinian artists from blacklisting. The Weeknd sent millions of meals to Gaza. One by one, artists are refusing to look away.

Silence is not neutral. It is a choice.

The feeling we got when we saw this Barn reveal was truly unmatched 🤎

The perfectly autumnal colors, layers of plaid, warm lighting, and florals spilling across the room all worked together in a way that quite literally stopped us in our tracks.

Our nearly 100-year-old, 6,200-square-foot Barn is no stranger to a transformation, but somehow, this one made every inch feel intimate. Warm, layered, a little unexpected, and proof that even a very big room can feel like the coziest dinner party you’ve ever been invited to.

Yeah… we’re going to be thinking about this one for a while.
