I used to think my daily life wasn’t worth sharing simply because it didn’t look like what I saw on social media.

I don’t own fancy or aesthetically pleasing things. Most of the items I use are gifts or souvenirs. My makeup and skincare routine are pretty basic, and my outfits are nothing eye catching.

But then I realized that most people probably live a life that’s just as simple as mine. They just don’t show up on my timeline, or maybe they don’t post at all.

So why was I comparing my everyday reality to a handful of carefully curated moments?

My “unaesthetic” life deserves to be shared too. Because it’s real and honest. And maybe that’s exactly what someone needs to see today.
