Over the course of our 8 years in the community we have delivered dozens upon dozens of personal development workshops but this one was different and new for us.
Earlier this month, we had the opportunity and privilege of delivering our very first workshop for prison inmates, at HMP Leicester.
Our focus was entirely on motivation and building a positive mindset. We explored the importance of finding and pursuing a passion that not only benefits themselves but also adds value to the community around them.
We had 16 engaged attendees, and the feedback we received was incredibly moving. Several attendees shared how much it meant to them simply knowing that there are people on the outside who genuinely care and want to see them succeed.
To say this experience was humbling and fulfilling would be an understatement.
A massive thank you to Helen Cox, Mohamed Eid and Umar Amujee at HMP Leicester for believing in this initiative and working so hard to help us set this up. We are incredibly hopeful that this is just the beginning, with many more to follow.
