Just wondering…would you choose to live permanently on Sanibel Island or is it better as a vacation destination?

The critters keep me away! Once saw a MASSIVE brown snake slithering into the sand dunes near our hotel!! 😱😱

I would live there in a minute. I’m saddened by the gigantic mansions that have been built after the hurricane. The scale and style are out of place on an island with so much natural beauty.

Living here for the summers and it’s amazing! Wouldn’t have it any other way. We have found 9 Junonia shells this summer 😍
