“My favorite thing about Demond is how passionate and intentional he is. He has shown me unwavering love and support throughout this entire chair journey, and I truly couldn’t have done it without him. He has been someone I can always rely on as both a friend and a partner. This experience has been once in a lifetime, and there is no one else I would’ve wanted to go through it with. He’s been my biggest supporter every step of the way. Everything about him has made this partnership perfect. I know how lucky I am to have him as my partner, and our camp and especially our freshmen are so lucky to have him in their corner. I know I am.” 💚🥹

“I love how different we are. Emma is different from me in all the ways I needed. She has all the qualities I was missing in a partner, and she makes me better every single day. One of my favorite things about her is how she always lets me be me. It’s so much easier to say ‘no’ than it is ‘yes,’ but she always believes in my ideas and supports me fully. She is truly the best partner I could’ve asked for, and I couldn’t imagine this journey with anyone else. I’m so grateful we got to build Camp Wegner together… and tomorrow we finally get to watch it all come to life.” 🌲💚
