The road to a global-level competition is never a simple, straightforward path. For months, I have stood behind you and either side of you as we've prepared for what has now come down to the few hours ahead of you.

I've been on the other end of every check-in call, every "What are your thoughts?" conversation, offering guidance, arranging photoshoots, brainstorming content ideas, planning social media posts, organizing wardrobe fittings, skincare treatments, flights, and even navigating the sleepless nights of visa applications.

Making this opportunity possible and preparing you for it was my job. Showing up was yours.

And boy, did you show up.

You have graciously represented me, @mr.southafrica_official, @mrsupranationalsa, our sponsors, our partners, and our designers. But most importantly, you have represented South Africa. 🇿🇦 You have united our people back home and inspired so many. For that, I couldn't be prouder.

The preparation is over. Your time is now. Step onto that runway, give it everything you have, and know that an entire country stands behind you. You'll hear us cheering, and you'll feel South Africa carrying you, just as you have carried us throughout this journey.

The road to a global-level competition is never a easy, simple or straightforward path... but we made it!
