July wrap part 1. July felt like three lifetimes in one month.

We closed our retail shop, and while that chapter was hard to say goodbye to I loved seeing so many customers and friends come out to the nursery. Thank you to everyone who chatted with me, shared some tears and gave me hugs.

Meanwhile, the roses kept blooming through high heat because that’s what they do. I’m endlessly proud of what we’re growing out here.

I also had the chance to attend the annual AIFD symposium in Orlando and wow. The floral designers of this world are something else. I left so inspired and reminded of why I fell in love with flowers in the first place. @hannekefrankema was a highlight to watch create.

And then there’s the other side of farm/work life. A kid on the Kubota helping me clear out the nursery for our final weekend and flying his new rc birthday plane over the field with his brother.

July you were wonderful in all of the best ways.
