Ella was born in Italy and raised in boarding schools across Europe, which, in hindsight, was probably her gothic villain origin story. She’s been writing angsty romances while listening to 2000’s pop-rock since before she had any business doing so. The soundtrack hasn’t changed much (the 2000s gave us some absolute bops and she’ll die on that hill), but the romance has gotten spicier.
She writes morally-grey MMCs, FMCs with a strong eldest daughter energy, all the found families, queer-positive stories, endless banter, and enemies-to-lovers tension.
