Highlights from the Healdsburg Summer Retreat. A wonderful weekend with yogins who shared their love of yoga. So much joy beaming from everyone and within myself. The one lady shown in Sirsasana II (Headstand 2) is well into her 80's and just started in my Intro classes last year! She was not the only octogenarian at the retreat. The two brought much inspiration, joy, and light for the rest of us. From these newer practitioners to ones who've been in Iyengar Yoga for 2/3+ decades, we all shared space, maitri, karuna, and mudita. 🙏🏽🧘🏽‍♀️🥰

#NEWS - #HassanKariem, an Atlanta Public Schools educator, had already overcome several life-threatening challenges before his tragic death, according to family friend Elicia Day.

Day revealed that Kariem was a cancer survivor and had recently escaped a car fire alongside his daughter just weeks before his passing.

“We’re absolutely devastated by this loss. Any loss of a family member or friend is tragic, but to lose him in this manner, this way, is beyond what words can even express,” Day said.

Thank you to @miketyson and his team for listening to the Jewish community and standing for social justice for the Jewish people. We appreciate your willingness to hear our concerns and take them seriously.

And to @supremenewyork our door is always open. We would welcome the opportunity to work together on a collection that celebrates Jewish identity, culture, and resilience. Jewish pride deserves to be represented, not erased.

This is what happens when we organize, speak out, and refuse to remain silent.

Jewish identity is not negotiable. Jewish pride is not up for cancellation.
