🇺🇸*WORLD CUP 2026*⚽️
It’s been a dream of mine to attend a World Cup for a long time. Having it here in home soil was nothing short of magnificent. Watching the world come to the US was a thrill.
Was able to go to 5 matches in 3 different cities in Atlanta, Dallas & Houston.
Saw Group Stage matches, a Round of 32 match and a magical Round of 16 match between Argentina 🇦🇷 & Egypt 🇪🇬 (3-2) that was named the FIFA Game of the Tournament.
Got to take my family to Spain 🇪🇸 - Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 match on Fathers Day.
Got to see the GOAT 🐐 Lionel Messi in person. He tied game with an 83’ goal, and then assisted Enzo Fernandez for the 92’ winner to beat Egypt 3-2 at the last whistle.
Saw other global stars Lamine Yamal, Vini Jr, World Cup Golden Ball Winner Rodri, Mo Salah & more.
Met new Argentine 🇦🇷 friends over BBQ in Kansas City, Had great convos with Brazilians 🇧🇷 over Mexican 🇲🇽 food in Houston. Drank Sake with an amazing table of Japanese 🇯🇵 fans in Dallas, while sitting with a group of Swedes 🇸🇪, and having a conversation with each other over Google Translate haha. Cheered on a Morocco 🇲🇦 game with a big group of Moroccans in Omaha. Memories I’ll cherish forever.
The energy, the passion, the pride, the jubilation and the heartbreak- there is nothing like it.
I’m sad it’s over. Maybe that’s why it took me so long to post about it. I had to grieve lol.
God willing in 4 years time I can go to Spain/Portugal/Morocco in 2030 for the next one, because after experiencing this- I never want to miss it again. It was THAT good. 🌎🏆⚽️
