From a phone call to holding the physical vinyl in my hands - what a journey! 🎶✨
It all kicked off back in 2022 when the amazing Ekaterina Shelehova (@ekaterinashelehova) reached out with an incredible proposition: joining Eric Lévi’s iconic ERA (@eramusic.official) as the opera tenor for their upcoming arena tour across France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Luxembourg (with Ekaterina starring as the opera soprano).
Coming from a heavy metal background, my inner rockstar couldn’t resist! 🤘✨
The tour was an absolute dream come true. Moving from the traditional operatic stage to performing in packed arenas for so many fans was an unbelievable thrill. Beyond the rush, I had the privilege of sharing the stage with legendary musicians I’ve looked up to for years - Rob Harris (@robharrisgtr) and Paul Turner (@paulturnerbass) (Jamiroquai), Ged Lynch (@gedlynchdrummer) (Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens), Nicolas Montazaud (@nicolas_montazaud), and Eric Lévi himself. The experience challenged and grew me, both as an artist and as a person.
Eric and I kept in touch, and fast forward to 2024 - while I was singing the role of Gandhi in Philip Glass’s (@philipglass) Satyagraha for Staatsoper Hannover (@staatsoperhannover) - he invited me to record ‘The Fallen King’ for the new album Era VIII at @faust_records in Prague.
We shot the epic music video in mid-2025, released the single in early 2026, and today after more than half a million YouTube views, I’m holding the signed album in my hands. 💿🖤
A massive thank you to Eric, Ekaterina, and everyone who held their faith in me along the way. I’m so grateful to be part of this and cannot wait for the next tour! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
