What an incredible weekend with my EJE7 family at the Gauchitos Summer Cup! 💛🖤⚽
After 12 days off and coming straight from Mexico, I was ready to compete. I finished the weekend with 5 goals and was honored to receive Gauchitos Match MVP in our second game.
In the championship, I stepped into goal against a tough team that had beaten us 7–2 the day before. This time, we responded. We battled back, tied it 4–4, and I was blessed to save the penalty that kept us alive in regulation. Then in the penalty shootout, I saved two more PKs to help secure the championship. 🥇🙌 I was also incredibly honored to be named Championship Game MVP by Coach Hantz.
None of this happens without @eddie_johnson7 . The belief he has in us, the pressure he applies, the standards he sets, and the countless hours he pours into every single one of us are what make moments like this possible. He challenges us to be better players, better teammates, and better people every single day. He gives us real life. Thank you, @eddie_johnson7 , for everything you invest in me and everyone in the lab. Your passion, sacrifice, and commitment NEVER go unnoticed, and I’m beyond grateful to learn from you and your pressure is a privilege.
I’m also incredibly thankful to compete alongside such an amazing group of elite athletes in the lab. Every training session pushes me to grow because of the level they bring, and every tournament reminds me how lucky I am to call them my teammates. The friendships we’ve built mean so much to me, and making memories like this together is something I’ll always treasure.
Iron sharpens iron. ❤️ Thankful for EJE7, this journey, and everyone who continues to push each other to be our very best.
