[a love letter to my menstruation]

graduation collection by @perrrrrryyyy

I had the incredible honor of being the muse of my dear friend Enny's grad collection. the work tackles so many topics I hold close to my heart and I look back at the entire process with such gratitude. so I just want to say thank you Enny, for giving me the space to explore these topics with you, thank you for trusting me and thank you for letting me be a part of the BREATHTAKING work you do♡

photography: @bananenmuseum
hair & makeup: @silviaa__cm
set design: @indavaa
designer: @perrrrrryyyy

concept text:

Three years ago, you left me. I still run through the howling autumn night in search of you, as my tattered presence reveals. I grab tight, what holds a trace of your remains. The hands of father time are coming for me,

unclothing me.

I cloak myself beneath fragile autumn leaves as the reality of your absence rains down on me.

The fear you left tightens around me like a corset. The grief about our unborn child covers my sight like a dark veil.

I breath my disorientation, my emptiness into the cloth as I try to reclaim you.

This collection is my love letter to you.

To the deepest and barest connection with myself, my menstruation.

Why can't I love you better?

(Why couldn't I love you better before you left?)
