We don’t need to connect every idea in our ancient literature to modern science to prove its greatness. Our scriptures contain profound philosophical, spiritual and cosmological ideas that deserve to be understood in their own context. A similarity with a modern scientific concept does not automatically mean the ancients had already discovered that science. Science requires evidence, mathematical formulation and testable predictions; philosophy explores questions of meaning, existence and reality. Ironically, saying “our sages had already discovered everything modern science knows” can actually devalue our heritage by reducing its rich philosophical traditions to a search for modern scientific validation. Let’s take pride in our heritage—but with intellectual honesty. We don't need to make it something it never claimed to be.
