Most celiacs here still haven’t found it.
Here are three dedicated gluten-free kitchens in Portland that many celiacs haven’t discovered yet:
🍩 Mikiko Mochi Donuts (NE 28th and Beaverton): Their FAQ confirms dedicated gluten-free kitchens. August flavors include yuzu funfetti, passionfruit curd, and horchata pudding. Note: The Beaverton location closes Mondays and Tuesdays.
🍗 Your Side Chicks (Nob Hill cart pod): Enjoy fried chicken with dedicated gluten-free fryers, as stated on their site. Wings are a dollar on Wednesdays. Try the corn ribs with local honey.
🍜 Chem Gio (inside Mosaic Taphouse on N Lombard): A 100% gluten-free Vietnamese kitchen run by the former owners of YenHa. The kitchen is dedicated, but the taphouse bar is not, so feel free to order food and ask about drinks.

Only 1 of those I didn't know about! The other two I've gotten a few times since moving to the PDX area, well outskirts of anyway. Looooove @yoursidechicks_pdx and @mikikomochidonuts 🔥😍 sooooo good!!!

Your Side Chicks has four locations now. Eastsiders will enjoy their cart at the Brooklyn Carreta or Fremont Garage. They’re also over in Beaverton. Amazing and safe food.
