Goober news! 🗞️🥹🎈
This beautiful boy left our home today, not to return to boarding, but to join his forever family!

This would not have been possible without all of you sharing his story so his sweet face could be seen by his people, so thank you all, truly.

Goober has to get a small procedure to remove a lump that we discovered in his armpit, so he joins his new family as a “foster-to-adopt” to allow the rescue to provide his medical care. Even with this unexpected wrinkle, there was no hesitation on their part. To see his new family’s heartfelt commitment to be there for him for whatever he needs has been a beautiful sight. Sometimes the universe delivers us to exactly where we need to be at the exact moment we need to be there. I’m so proud of this little community for helping to make this happen.

I have no doubt Goober will thrive with the love and support of his new family, and I’m so excited for him to begin the best chapter of his life - the one where he’s right where he belongs 🖤
