Let’s talk about the real reason behind CW Co-Work!

Sara shares with us the real story: the isolation of working from home during the pandemic, the loss of an amazing local cafe that was home to so many local entrepreneurs, and the moment she realized she wasn’t the only one craving a space to get meaningful and creative work done and being surrounded by like-minded entrepreneurs making a difference in the community.

November is basically still October until December comes then it’s Christmas then after that it’s a void of time where I start going insane until it’s summer then I’m good again 👍
Do you trust this government with your $1.6 BILLION? Ottawa has committed up to that amount to buy into AI company Cohere. But when Vassy Kapelos asked Minister Evan Solomon what percentage Canadians would own, he wouldn’t disclose it. Commercial sensitivity. Sound familiar? That’s what’s they said with Volkswagen and many others. Look at the record of federal and provincial governments backing companies with public money: 🔴 Northvolt: Quebec lost $270 million invested in the Swedish parent company. (globalnews.ca) 🔴 Lion Electric: Quebec lost approximately $140 million, according to The Canadian Press. (montreal.citynews.ca) 🔴 Recyclage Carbone Varennes: Quebec’s $117 million equity stake was lost, alongside further losses on public loans. The assets sold for just $17.5 million. (montreal.citynews.ca) 🔴 Medicago: Ottawa lost a $150 million non-refundable vaccine advance. (search.open.canada.ca) 🔴 Novavax: After Canada terminated its vaccine agreement, the company booked US$575.7 million from previously recorded payments and liabilities as revenue. It refunded US$28 million. (sec.gov) And they get away with it? Vast? “Ok”. It’s not ok. Disclose the deal or you don’t get to use our money.
I mean, as far as weekends go… ❤️ Making the best of the two-hour queue for the red carpet. Oh, the silly things we do for vanity... “Speechless”. “Scott, hold the statue closer to your face!” “Scott, kiss the Emmy, it’ll make a great cover photo!” “Scott, look a little less like you just had a heart attack!” “Scott, stop rocking on the floor in the fetal position!” “Um… can someone please get this man a drink?” My emotional support human. ❤️ Her dress had pockets, guys. POCKETS! Starting to sink in… On the shoulders of giants. You might be able to see these from some of the other photos, but this year’s award show came with a brand new experience for me: the privilege of wearing pieces from @charlielapson’s absolutely stunning jewelry collection. I don’t know what Elle and I did to deserve Mr. Lapson’s remarkable generosity, but I have never felt that cool in my life. Elle was radiant in his white gold and diamonds, whereas the black rings and leather bracelets Charlie chose for me struck such a satisfying balance between elegance and subtlety. I don’t wear “bling,” but I tell ya, maybe I should rethink that. THANK YOU, Mr. Lapson! And to top it all off, sushi dinner and dessert, courtesy of my very own leading man, @thomasjankas. I’m a lucky, lucky boy. Now I sleep for about 8 months. I love and appreciate every one of you. Thank you for gifting me these memories. —SC
For years now I’ve picked coffee over pre-workout for the caffeine, taste and antioxidants, though sometimes I’ll take a stim-free pre-workout for the tingles and the placebo. Most of what a pre-workout does for your training comes from the caffeine. You can get that from coffee for a fraction of the price. Some terms and conditions apply: * Dose: A cup of coffee has roughly 80 to 120 mg of caffeine, while many pre-workouts have 200 to 300 mg. * The link between coffee and living longer comes mostly from observational data. * Some pre-workout ingredients (citrulline, beta-alanine, creatine) do have evidence behind them. They’re often underdosed or hidden in proprietary blends, though. Also, some, like creatine and beta-alanine, also only work when taken consistently to build up muscle stores. That said, if you enjoy your pre-workout and it’s third-party tested, there’s nothing wrong with using it before some of your sessions, just be aware that it’s caffeine doing the heavy lifting.
