We are thrilled to announce that Ronald Labrador will serve as a Hip Hop and Ballroom Instructor for our upcoming production of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical.
Ron has been teaching Ballroom at GDOE since 2016 and has hosted several annual competitions and recitals. He trained in Salt Lake City under Ten Dance and Latin Champions Gary MacDonald and Ron Montez, after being introduced by Barbara Gilman (Teacher of the Year Guam, who introduced the Ballroom Dance curriculum to the island).
Ron was also the Hip Hop choreographer at Step Up Dance & Entertainment Company for many years and competed in the World Hip Hop Internationals (HHI) from 2013-2018. He is a certified World HHI judge and currently holds the record for the highest placement for Guam in HHI history.
Most recently, Ron choreographed the ballroom dance scene for WTP’s Beauty and the Beast (2023) and “Be Prepared” for Disney’s The Lion King JR. (2024). We are incredibly excited to work with Ron for Frozen: The Broadway Musical!
Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical makes its Guam premiere September 4–6, 2026, at the University of Guam Calvo Field House in Mangilao, a spectacular production presented by World Theater Productions and Guam Philharmonic Foundation, Incorporated.
