🪽 my third studio album ‘𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝒮𝓀𝓎 𝒾𝓈 𝒶 𝒲𝑜𝓃𝒹𝓇𝑜𝓊𝓈 𝐵𝑒𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝐼 𝒜𝓂 𝐿𝓊𝒸𝓀𝓎 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝐼𝓃𝓈𝒾𝒹𝑒’ is OUT TODAY‼️ I wrote these songs between 2021-2023 and recorded them 2023-2024 with @keil.adam at @marignystudios and @friendlymckinley in New Orleans - as well as a final magical capture at @hotelchelsea in NYC✨ all with the further collaboration of many kind & talented souls. partial funding was made possible by a generous grant from @church.of.noise, which I am so grateful to have received in 2024. Very excited to offer limited edition vinyl in 🩵 wondrous sky blue + ♥️ red velvet rope via @thestrangedaisy (U.S.) ~ and a limited edition cassette via @cruelnaturerecs (U.K.) 💭 both available at the l!nks 🔗 in my bi0. this release began as an anti-record: with the unusual creative process for “Trial & the wishing gun” intending to be a one-off experiment accidentally paving the way. from a nearly Shakespearean exchange of digital letters with a mysterious mushroom forager on Tinder (“Indigo.not indigo”) to the processing of a local community stalwart’s passing (“Rose Leaving” …rest in power @pearce.bernard) to the annual grief of Mardi Gras’ conclusion (“Half the moon and stars”), ‘THE SKY’ is a tender yet empowered tour de force of life deeply lived. mixed by @keil.adam and mastered by @audibleoddities. photography by @_yadayadayada__
