For our wedding reception, I took obvious inspiration from the place (Liberty Bar calls the 1882 Elemendorf House its home — a former convent of Benedictine nuns in the Order of St. Scholastica.) 💒💒💒 Beyond that I wanted (needed!) the florals to feel unfussy — mostly bc I did my own wedding flowers, planning, etc and I wanted to have time to be present with my groom and our loved ones. Also bc I felt like the space was doing a lot of the heavy lifting on style without my help. An exercise in restraint. I couldn’t be happier with how easy that day felt! So much love and we’re still riding the high.
