Back at The Old Vic to celebrate Matthew Warchus’ tenure. A very emotional evening…the familiar smell of that theatre will always trigger something in me. Congratulations Matthew and good luck for the next chapter.
I see some weekend baking in our future! Pumpkin Spice Latte Loaf 🤩 Say RECIPE for the link! https://cheeseknees.com/pumpkin-spice-latte-loaf/
don't talk to her like that 😡😡 The definitive breakdown of crime television’s most deeply rooted slow burn: * The Core Premise: She is a decorated, by-the-book senior agent committed to the badge; he is a grieving ex-con artist with zero regard for procedure, bent on hunting down the serial killer who took his family. When Teresa Lisbon opens the doors of the CBI to Patrick Jane, she takes on the impossible burden of harnessing his genius while desperately trying to keep his soul intact. * The Dynamic Across the Years: * The Early Seasons: Constant exasperation, frantic cover-ups, and fierce professional loyalty. Lisbon risks her career shielding Jane’s chaotic cons from internal affairs and prosecutors, while Jane repays her by solving her toughest cases—and quietly ensuring she never takes the fall. * The Red John Hunt: Jane’s vendetta threatens to swallow him whole, but Lisbon remains his solitary moral anchor. She is the only person allowed past his polished mask, the one woman whose opinion can genuinely check his dark impulses. * The FBI Shift & Beyond: With the ghost of his past finally gone, their bond sheds its protective armor. Forced to confront the reality of living without a vendetta, Jane must decide whether he is capable of loving again before Lisbon walks out of his life forever. * The Actors & Characters: * Simon Baker as Patrick Jane – The sharp-eyed, tea-drinking consultant whose arrogant smile hides a broken man slowly learning how to care again. * Robin Tunney as Teresa Lisbon – The resilient, fiercely principled team leader whose tough exterior guards an unwavering devotion to the man everyone else considered impossible. * The Legacy: No forced melodrama, just seven seasons of stolen glances, unspoken understandings, couch naps in the CBI attic, and an airport confession that earned every single second of buildup. Save this for your next series rewatch. What was the exact moment you knew Jane was hopelessly in love with Lisbon? Day 5: Skandamata - Nurturing ✨ Nurturing yourself doesn’t have to mean following a perfect diet or giving up everything you love. Sometimes, it simply means finding better ways to take care of yourself. For Day 5 of Navratri, I collaborated with @fit.khurana a certified nutrition and fitness coach, to explore what nurturing can look like through food and everyday choices. Instead of cutting out the foods we love, we’re showing how you can “healthify” them by adding more protein, nutrients and wholesome ingredients to make them more balanced, while still keeping them enjoyable.🫶🌿 Recipe ⬇️ (Makes 6 Tikkis | ~100 Cals | ~6g Protein per Tikki) Ingredients 🥔 150g steamed sweet potato 🌱 80g raw sabudana 🧀 100g low fat paneer 🌶️ 1 green chilli, finely chopped 🥜 5 to 6 peanuts, crushed ⚪ ½ tsp sesame seeds 🌿 ½ tsp cumin powder 🌶️ ½ tsp red chilli powder 🧂 Sendha namak as per taste 🌿 Fresh coriander, chopped 🫒 A little oil for brushing For the Green Chutney 🥜 1 tbsp peanuts 🌿 1 handful fresh coriander 🌿 1 handful fresh mint 🌶️ 1 green chilli 🥛 100g Greek yogurt 🧂 Sendha namak as per taste How to Mak 1- Rinse 100g dry sabudana 2 to 3 times, soak in enough water for 4 to 6 hours until soft, then drain thoroughly in a strainer for 10 to 15 minutes. 2- Steam, peel and mash the sweet potato.
