🚋 On the final section of Riga’s former Line 2 (today’s Line 8), trams run parallel to the railway leading to the Port of Riga.
🚂 Our opponent? A heavy freight train hauled by a legendary Soviet 2M62 twin-section diesel locomotive on its way to the harbour.
🎥 Filmed from the passenger seat of a Tatra T6B5, this unexpected side-by-side run almost feels like a race.

you forgot to mention both are russian/soviet so both will break down on the end of the trip 😂

The M62 is only officially supposed to run up to 200kph, but IIRC there was a video of some rogue russians running one at about 300kph, but that was without a load, and a 2M62 with a load probably has a LOT of load.
