China Diaries, Day 9 (Part II) 👑🌾

After taking in the quiet Mountain Views, I had the opportunity to experience somethjng special right the top of the terraces. 🏔️✨

I got to wear traditional Miao (苗族) attire.
The silver crown and chest pieces aren’t just for show. In Miao culture, the silver actually symbolizes good fortune, beauty, and protection. And the embroidery is basically a wearable history book, with patterns and stories passed down through generations of women 👑🪡

Being dressed in so much history was unforgettable. I felt so grateful just to be welcomed into that space and experience it up close.
