Every morning, my 8-year-old orphan daughter carries a burden far beyond her age. Instead of enjoying her childhood or carrying her school bag, she spends hours waiting in long lines just to collect water.

She lost her father, and with him, the safety, support, and childhood every child deserves. Today, she struggles for one of the most basic human needs: clean water.

No child should have to spend their childhood searching for a drop of water or living with such hardship.
