2 months ago(1) Confirm you're eligible You need to own at least 100 shares of Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE: RCL) common stock at the time of sailing. (2) Book your cruise Book on Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, or Silversea. It excludes charter, complimentary, Celebrity River Cruises, and Galapagos sailings. The name on your reservation must match the name on your proof of ownership. (3) Gather proof of ownership Get a current brokerage statement (showing your name and share count) or your shareholder proxy card. It needs to be a recent statement. (4) Submit the request online For Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, submit through the Shareholder Onboard Credit request form at rclinvestor.com. Silversea shareholders request separately by emailing [email protected] instead. (5) Time it right Submit roughly 2–3 weeks before your sail date. The shareholder benefits team is separate from Guest Services, so a late or missing request usually can't be fixed once you're onboard. (6) Double-check it was applied A few days to a week before sailing, check your reservation or onboard account to confirm the credit is showing. If it's missing, follow up directly with the shareholder benefits team. Don't wait until you're at sea. (7) Spend it onboard The credit lands on your SeaPass/stateroom account and can go toward drinks, specialty dining, excursions, or spa. It's onboard spending money. #RoyalCaribbean #CruiseTips #InvestorPerks #StockMarket #RCL #CruiseHacks
2 months agoA benefit most people miss! Most people buy Royal Caribbean stock for the dividend. Here’s a perk almost nobody talks about 👇 If you own 100+ shares of Royal Caribbean Group (RCL), you qualify for onboard credit every single time you sail and it’s not just Royal Caribbean, it also covers Celebrity Cruises and Silversea. Here’s how the credit breaks down per sailing: 🛳️ 5 nights or less → $50 🛳️ 6–13 nights → $100 🛳️ 14+ nights → $250 🛳️ World Cruise → $1,000 A few things to know: ✔️ It’s credited straight to your stateroom, not a fare discount ✔️ One credit per stateroom (double occupancy) — the shareholder has to be sailing in it ✔️ You can claim it on every qualifying cruise, not just once ✔️ You’ll need a brokerage statement (under 90 days old) submitted about 3 weeks before you sail, with your name matching the reservation It’s a small perk in the grand scheme of investing but if you’re already holding the stock and love to cruise, it’s free money you might be leaving on the table. The exact steps to claim is in the comments 📩 DISCLOSURE This content is provided for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute investment, tax, or legal advice.
