Educating myself further into my skill set every year isn’t so that I can get a set done in an hour and do as many clients as possible.
It is research. It is data collection. It is exposing myself to as many high quality service providers as I can, to learn from them, apply the knowledge, then take my favourite parts to create my own tailored approach.
It’s not throwing technique at the wall and seeing what sticks. I’m making educating choices. To therefore create the highest value, efficient and worthwhile service I can that suits my service type niche.
Just because I’m a maximalist loving tech does not mean we’re skimping on the prep/cuticle work. I do it all. And I do it efficiently.
Which is only possible because of how much I prioritise investing in my continued education.
Stop practising mistakes. Start practicing with purpose.

Honestly it’s so stressful to see how good professional nail techs are when I’m a beginner. I have no where near the same talent, will I ever be able to be as good and be hired? I feel sooo discouraged

10 hours is incredible. Was it on a client or press-ons? I can't begin to imagine the backpain for both you and the client 😭😭😭

i always get so discouraged that i take over 2 hours for french tips or 3 hours for a full design with 3d or isolated chrome this made me feel a lot better about my timing thank you ☺️
