Glaciers galore at Kenai Fjords National Park!
Kayaking just half a mile away from a glacier and watching the glacier calving, unforgettable. The half mile distance is to ensure our safety should sizeable waves occur from the parts of the glacier that fall off and into the ocean water.
These bays are filled with a wide variety of wildlife, we got to see humpback whales, dalls porpoises, sea otters, horned puffin and tufted puffin, seals and sea lions, and flocks of flying birds.
Yes, Iβm still slogging thru photos and videos to share. The reality of life is that I rarely have time during the day to get on IG and when I get home, I donβt want to be on my phone. I need both hands to cuddle Harvey and play fetch with him and take our walkies. So these are still slowing coming out because they need a forever place on here.
Our coldest and wettest day in Seward but made the most of it! Stayed dry and warm with
@stio raincoat, water resistant pinedale pants and Turpin fleece sweater!
