Thrilled to be bringing my new business partner and old classmate to our next Light Dao event. Sarba Das has spent two decades at the highest levels of film and television. She’s the founder of 108 Pictures and now Head of Wild Awake Productions, and previously served as Head of Nonfiction at Media Res and Head of Creative for Documentaries at A24 — where she helped build a slate that included VAL, Stephen Curry: Underrated, The Deepest Breath, and the Emmy-winning The Sixth. Earlier work spans Sony Pictures Television, ABC, and the Peabody Award–winning High on the Hog. A Yale and NYU Tisch graduate, she has studied Odissi classical dance her whole life and approaches Vedic scripture and meditation with the same rigor she brings to a pitch meeting.
